———-
It has been on my radar for quite some time, to return to Tango and use it as the beautiful vehicle of empowerment that I know it can be. Naturally, this means me working with women. 🙂
I’m excited to be offering a new class at Rina & Nadim’s new studio — Tango Esencia Studio. Classes start on Sundays from 25 February, and all women of all levels are welcome to participate.
Cost is by donation, to allow anybody to attend without money being an issue. A percentage will be donated to a local women’s charity to aid support women who might otherwise be homeless.
Please join us for some Tango fun, technique and play in a safe all women’s environment. All that I know about Tango after over a decade of teaching will be made available to the curious.
Sundays from 25 February, attend by donation (rec. $10-25)
*** % will be donated to local womens shelters
What is it?
Women in Tango is a women’s only Tango class, designed for women by women to explore and expand themselves through Tango. Based upon walking, Argentine Tango is suitable for all: “If you can walk, you can Tango”, but in that walk can be so much depth and colour to explore yourself and your connection with the outside world, all through the wonder that is music and dance self-expression!
Full instruction and support will be given. This is an open class, where all women may learn to lead and follow — as is their wish. Absolute Beginners are welcome to this drop-in class. Core and quality movement will be encouraged for those with experience.
